In 2011 and 2012, A.G. Peltz Group demonstrated its expertise by placing 128,000 square yards of 12-inch Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) pavement and 135,000 square yards of 8-inch RCC pavement. The project owners chose RCC over traditional asphalt due to its exceptional durability and ability to withstand heavy, repeated loadings with minimal maintenance, ensuring long-term cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Building on this success, ThyssenKrupp once again selected RCC as the preferred pavement solution for its Steel Warehouse facility and Melt Shop in 2013. Known for its demanding operational requirements, the facility benefited from RCC’s unmatched strength and durability. The surface texture achieved for the RCC pavement at ThyssenKrupp is among the “tightest” ever placed by A.G. Peltz Group, a testament to their precision and commitment to quality.
The projects were further supported by leading material suppliers, Vulcan Materials and Holcim Cement, ensuring that the RCC mix met the highest standards for industrial applications.
